The entrance and reception was incredible, music and sculptures are on point. Highly recommend prawn pasta, although it was small but so goooodd. Will be back for another getaway and occasion.
- Chris C20.08.2018★ ★ ★ ☆ ☆Pt Leo is worth a visit for the sculpture park and the wine. The park with its view of the bay is a standout. Cellar door is worth tasting, Pinot Noir and Shiraz both great.
As for the restaurant, our experiences echo the other reviewers saying that the food and service were both average- especially given the price point. This perhaps won’t be a problem for the droves of tourists, but if you are from Melbourne you’re likely to feel overcharged for the dining experience. - Nat Pat13.03.2018★ ★ ★ ★ ☆Had an opportunity to visit this new Mornington Peninsula treasure. Ambience and presentation a huge tick, as were the staff, and service. The dishes were discussed and explained with smiles and knowledge.
The dishes. Starters, Tempura Zucchini Flowers were crisp and flavoursome, as was the creative Mussel fried sandwich.
Main course, the Pork belly was falling apart with a crisp top, that needed fingers to eat. The Prawn with pasta and sauce was unfortunately a disappointment, the prawns were cooked perfectly, the sauce as promised was rich and full of flavour, the pasta was over cooked, limp and detracted from the dish.
Desert, the Strawberry meringue divine, as was the chocolate mousse, coated in ganache with crispy honeycomb garnish was stunning.
The wines complimented the cuisine, the architecture and view were incredible.
